shaolin kungfu...*walah*

another awesome show...
went to the perth convention centre to watch the china lion-dancing, kungfu and acrobatic troupe 2006!!
considered full house..2 hour show..
the mc kinda weird...he wasnt fluent in his english..keep saying weird stuff wif the chinese accent and keeps saying he lost his words *huh*
started off wif the lion dance *big broad smile*...its a chinese tradition to paint the eyes of the lions wif red paint before starting someting...there were 4 lions so 4 ppl got up and painted..i wanted to go..but ive done it a million times b4..so let the others do it lor...
then they each got a red packet...another chinese tradition...dunno got money inside onot...*winkz*
the lions were not very nice cuz they were not my fav colours :P
i luv the blue and black lion...i noe tats like the rarest colour for a lion but i saw it b4..!! seriously la...no kidding...my 2nd fav is white and silver mix of cuz...then red and black..hehehe..
they had white and yellow which was like a must have colours...
no red...but got green and orange @@" yuckso colours...
when i was young...i would cry if i see a lion dance...
every year in melaka during cny, my grandpa would hire a group of lion dancers to perform in the house...i would cry each and every time it comes near me...
and every year..i was asked to put angpau into their mouth!! *sobz* *sobz*...
i was really really sked of those lions...maybe cuz of their eyes..*sobz*..
oni a few years back that i became neutral towards them...hehe...
now each time i see a lion dance..i would run towards them and give them a pat and grab oranges from them...i noe i noe..its meant oni for kiddiez...so wat!! if u see a big big group of kids rushing to get oranges..great chance u might see me in there tooo hahaha..
back to the show...they had awesome awesome shaoling kungfu moves!!
i really really liked it...i cheered soo loud!! sadly i didnt noe how to blow those really loud whistle..hehehe..
they oso had roller skating on a round table..wow tat was spectacular..the gal n guy were awesome!! i enjoyed that soo much..
then more shaoling action...*koool*
then they had the hoola-hoop performance...another thumbs up!! the gals were pretty and *wow* they were good...
then they had ball performance...had a lil mistake but hey..they had to spin balls lying on a chair-like tingy...it was beautiful!!
then got some walking on the wire stunt..riding on the string as well...
got some funny acts..2 funny clowns fighting over a chair...
more shaoling martial arts...they were real shaoling masters kay..not those wannabes..
then came the most exciting part..my all time fav!! lion dance on poles...those high poles...some quite far apart where they had to jump across..those kinda stunts la..the one carrying the lion head was just 8 years old! its normal i noe....he was awesome!! double thumbs up...good job for the back person as well..he did most of the job..hehe..

they have it every year in genting i tink...but i tink tats lion dance comp or someting..not too sure..i wanna go again!! its just amazing!!
the shaoling monks were great...breaking wood and steel on their head...lying on top of sharp pointy weapons...etc etc...
enough said...go watch it!! worth ure money trust me..hehee...
if im not mistaken...my ex used to take up shaoling kungfu as well...am i rite? or is it someting else?? hehehe..sorri ah..wasnt as interested as now..hehehe..

so much to say but i'll just keep everyting else withing my memory space...must go if have another chance hehehe..and if i go again in the future..i'd make sure i bring my cam!! and take pics wif the performers...especially the shaoling cuties hahaha...

after the show went for dimsum...yummmy!! i ate like a whole plate of fried squid..no one else was eating...hehehe..and i didnt noe 2 of my frenz were working there *aikz*...a year plus jor and i didnt noe...i swear i haven seen them b4 ever! been there so many times but never once have i seen them serving me...*grrr*

anywayz..had a great time today..awesome show awesome crowd!! luv it luv it...
