its all eyes on denise and bernard...
phew...wat a tiring day yesterday and i wasnt even the bride..imagine the bride!
me n ma cousin have been sorta planning how the decorations at the house is gonna be, how the dinner table will be set, and how the book for signatures will be arranged...
these are just the minor bits to the preparation...the rest was done by d bride's mum and 2 aunties..which doesnt really include me lolx...
woke up early yesterday cuz i had to get ready and sharing a bathroom wif another female isnt a very organized ting...we still cant really sort who goes first and who does wat at the mean time..
suppose to wash me hair but couldnt be bothered cuz later in the afternoon oso need to wash liao..
so i just took a quick 5 minute shower and straightened me hair..
my hair didnt need much str8tening cuz its str8 on its on oredi...put on my signature eye liner and some blusher and got dressed...put on the not so bling-bling jewellery and zoom zoom off we go....got to the bride's parents house and did the remainder decoz cuz wat was done wasnt really enuf...guests started coming and its picture taking time...my family on this side never fails to take pictures...there are a few good photographers around i can tell u tat..all wif their fancy pro cameraz plus their picture taking skills...
but then again, when u put a huge crowd together, u can never get one perfect photo...
u have to take at least 10 to be able to get one good one...
tats wat i tink anywayz, cuz so many other amateurs (like myself) holding cameras trying to get pictures of the group but it just never seem to work?!?!
its either they are looking onto another camera or looking into space..
as a conclusion, the one wif the pro cam is the one who actually takes the pics...
for the rest of the amateurs its more of a self taking task hahaha...
i was practically melting under the sun...like richard said, a lil tanning wont do no harm hahaa...
i got a whole load of the tanning and a whole lot of the make-up melting moment..
i knew tat my eye liner was gonna smear but it wasnt tat bad...just a lil bit over the bottom lids..
the bride and groom came...i dunno if they were late or wat but they got there...
unfortunately, we werent suppose to look at the bride when she comes down the car and enters the house? wat tradition is tat??? i was so eager to take pix of that and tat was my fav part! but nop, instead i was the tea lady's assistant hahaha..i was incharge of changing and washing the tea cups later during the ceremony...
so i was quite upset tat i didnt get to see the bride get off the car...
as tradition, the bride's brother or if she doesnt have one, a younger boy/male in the family would open the car door and house door to invite the bride into the house...
i totally MISSED tat bit again and was pretty disappointed....but anywayz,back to the ceremony...everyone's taking pictures, everyone flashing their cams up and down...
one family after another waiting in line to take pix wif the couple...
then it was the tea ceremony, time for me to take my place...
i did some walking cuz i had to run into the kitchen each tie 4 cups are up for washing..
zoom in and zoom out..to some of the guest i might be a lil irritating but hey i was asked to do the job here...not me fault la...
wow...the amount of angpau and jewellery and other gifts tat they received....just pilling up hehe.....and the bride was wearing serious bling bling man...hahaha...
pearls, gold, diamonte? all over her neck and wrist..
i wasnt served tea :( i tot i could do it on behalf of my parents but nope i wasnt allowed to do tat :( so i just had to give them the present at the end....apparently mine was a huge gift...
at nite bernard told me it was cool at i got them a digital photo frame..wait till they read the note i wrote and start playing the frame...i hope they like my effort hehehe...
everyting except for the wrapper, bow and frame was all my doings..HAND made ppl...hehe..
so after the ceremony, it was finally lunch time...thank God my tummy wasnt hungry at the moment of the ceremony...but then even if it was no one could here it anywayz hahahahahahha...it was so noisy i tell u tat...
after lunch everyone just sat and chit chat..i had a massive headache...i just had to go in and sit..but i ended up on9-ing in darrell's game/study room...
surprisingly, a few relatives have come up to me telling me i lost weight?? i was like no i didnt..
the scale definately doesnt say so..and the clothes are still normally fitting and didnt get any looser hahahaha....but i take it as a compliment saying im pretty...PERASAN me hahahaha...i noe my body and i noe im noting close to being slim and pretty hahahahaha....
everyone left and we left at about 3pm....got home wanted to sleep! but then couldnt..have to pick out wat to wear for the nite, give fashion advices to me cousin...wat goes wif wat and wat doesnt go wif wat..then sort the dinner tings out...
i took my bath first while she does watever she has to...i actually slept on the coach for about 10 minutes?? was really tired la...........
at 5...tings got in a hurry...rush rush cuz had to leave the house by 5.30!! faste str8ten the hair, put make up and dressed up and then help cousin wif her dress, her hair, and make up bits...
then grabbed everyting we needed for the nite and off we go...picked my other cousin up and went str8 to the restaurant...
in the car it was sorta gossip time...i dun really get to hear all this gossips cuz its owayz amongst the 3 of them and not wif me...
so whenever im wif them i get to hear someting about family :P
i heard someting so new that i was shocked when i was told!! so sad actually...and wasted!!
anywayz, tats not the topic....got to northbridge and boy was the parking expensive...
aud$10 for 4 hours...errk...cousin was grumbling about the price and other cousin say just PAY la...how often are we here for such an event wor...
the restaurant is where we normaly have dimsum...its called 'luk fuk' which means '6 happiness' in english...
we had 6 tables seperated from the public and a wedding cake in the middle at the front...
we tot that the main table would have a red cloth on it but it didnt...it was all white...
i was like 'aiyak'...all the gold butterflies i made all not gonna be used :(
but then me cousin asked them if they would change the main table to red table cloth and they did...so yeepee...
i started by writting table numbers on the menu wif my signature heart symbol somewhere along the number hahaha.....
then started sprinkling the gold hearts and butterflies on the main table and the cake table..
then it was red butterflies and gold hearts at the other tables...
after tat i set up the book-signing-table and sprinkled the butterflies and gold hearts too...
after finishing tat...i was so happy wif the after-effect...they looked really pretty..especially the main table..
next up was placing the chocz next to each table setting on the tables...

eric and su may had one little too much to drink i tink...su may got soooooo red!
eric was close hahahaha...couldnt catch up thou hahahaha...
i drank a bit...2 glass max and it wasnt even full :P i dun wanna go red in photoz :P oso, im not such a good drinker....
we kept getting extra food from the vegetarian table on the side LOL...
one ting we didnt get was lobsters...im sure they finished it all hahaha..none left for us youngies..hahahhahaha....

now here's a question...who's job isit really to dress up the 'banana'? the male or the female? hahahahaha..attention! class in session!! wahahahahahaaha...
anyone noe the answer? hahaha....i personally tot it was the male but according to the guys..its the females job ?? shall we listen to the guys or wat?? according to them, guys are suppose to carry the 'square pack' while the gal dressed the banana hahahahahahaahaha...

so the nite ended, jeremy had to drive eric home, while darrell sent the rest of us home...
im not sure if the youngies are going for the asian cocktail nite tis friday...
if they all go then we can make it a family ting hahahahahahaha....tat would be hillarious...

will be another rushing day on friday, have to send my cousin to airport, then rush to pit's plc then go curtin then back to pit's plc then off to metro, nortbridge..
