bbq @ tom'z house
its monday and its the queen's bday. as i have oredi mentioned, i was gonna make potato salad for the bbq party since i din buy meat. woke up about 8 to started preparing stuff. its not really a quick n easy ting to make actually. boiled the potatoez, chopped the onions, green onionz, bacon and eggz. cooled the potato and then fried the bacon. tossed everyting together and wala...the salad is ready to eat. i put extra load of green onionz cuz i just luv them so much :P taste test, YUM :P
just when i wanted to shower, mum smsed me about some stuff and i was like why now mum, just as i wanna rush out. tried calling her but no answer so i cant be bothered anymore, just sms althou i had like $5 credit left @_@!
sorta settled it while i was driving and typing smses away. got there and woah, tom's grandparents own a house on a sloppy hill hahaha. i luv houses on top of some sorta 'hill' :P so romantic!
tot i was late but i was even earlier than that bloody host =.="
tat fella bought so much stuff. geez, tot he invited like 20 ppl or someting. instead it was just us. helped him unload his car wif food and xbox/ps (i dunno wat it is). the house was pretty small if asked me. but it had such a great backyard thou, small but i luv the view.
aud drove mel and neo over.
without wasting time, we started the bbq, get it warmed up ready to go. main bbq-er was neo cuz he had to marinate and grill his chic wings on the barbie so he stood there most of the time wif us taking turns to help him cook the sausages, beef and wat not. it was mostly sausages cuz aud brought, mel brought, and so did tom. imagine the amount of sausages. we started eating as we were bbq-ing. if not tings get cold and then not nice d.
sit and eat and chat lor. tok about life, about opinions and about the future. it was a bit weird to have tom as part of the group cuz we never hang out wif him one lor. speaking of which, i hope i'll still get to spend time wif all of them next time :(
we started keeping tings after 2 hours. we went indoors instead to play games. aud, neo and tom played some car racing ting. boring betul. then we decided to watch high school musical 2. omg, i can die str8. boring like wat oni lor. the moment the blonde fella starts singing, STOP the dvd, take it out and watch someting else. its a warning man. HSM1 was much better trust me. romey and jem came after a while. we all decided we watch step up 1. neo, tom and romey watched oredi but dun care, we still watch. wahliao, watching a movie wif romey when she oredi watch is damm boring lor ok. she cant stop 'telling' the story. damm her la, she dunno when to shut it. its a good show, not much dancing as i was expecting it to have but its ok, oni 2 stars from me. sent neo and mel back cuz they had tings to do. came back and watched lakehouse. i watched tat show like a million times oredi. such a good show. luv it to bits! 4 stars :P wanted to cry bt just had to hold it in man. hehe. so sleepy truout the show, me and aud were like oh my gosh, we're sleepy. after the show ended we just slept on the sofa. i actually slept for maybe 5-10 minutes until my phone vibrated under my pillow haha. woke up and they were playing some games. played a very stupid monkey game =.="
it was about 5.30 when mel's fren and her mum came. her mum has tis 'zombified' look on her face. she doesnt smile and she has like no expressions on her face lor. really like zombie. i tink even a zombie tats been awaken by oso got more facial expression than her.
started the bbq again. tis time aud and i were sorta main bbq-ers. cuz no one else wanted to do it. cook and eat at the same time lo. then neo came...sifu for chic wings haha. couldnt get mel so sent neo to go get her haha. she slept till dunno how to wake up and phone wasnt turned on ahaha. then henry came. omg i ate tooo much chic and sausages. can die lor. din drink a drop of pure water the whole day. all lemonade. *fainted*. sit and tok tok again. me and jem saw a shooting star. omg, it was beautiful! ok tis is out of topic but i wish to watch the sun set and the sun rise wif my partner, watching the stars at nite and hoping for a shooting star hahaha.
faste make wish lor. hahaha, auddie made an extra long one and we were too noisy tat she couldnt concentrate on the wish haha. neo entertained us wif his army stories again. OMG SUPER FUNNY LOR. we all larfed so much our tummy hurts after tat. the powder bath song...i really wanna noe how tat sound like lor. damm neo forgot how to sing it. army seems so fun man.
mel's fren and her mum together wif jem was inside singing singstar. omg tats some bad singing man. then we started washing up. neo got angry cuz he had to wash the bbq pit. hahaha, say he wont do it again hahaha. romey, mel and henry washed the dishes while aud and i made ice kacang hahaha. it was funny really, my poor fingers were frozen from taking ice and stuff. after tat we had another conv over the dining table and then moved on to singstar! muahaha...tom said tat everyone has to sing a song if not cnt go back. pfft, as if anyone would listen to tat crap.
aud has tis really low and sexy voice cuz she lose her voice. neo said she toks and larf like a man. wahliao, auddie so angry wif him lor. just ignore him from then. she kept singing wif her low sexy voice hahaha. they were singing all tis old songs from the 80's like 'we are the champions'. omg super funny lor. then i had a go as well, i started by singing the song by the calling 'wherever you will go', then hoobastank 'the reason'. jerome sang thirsty merk '20 good reason' then i sang along, she passed the mic to me huahuahua. ive been told i can sing and have a good voice hahaha. does tat mean i'll sing karaoke? NO! hahaha. 'the reason' song is stuck in my head man.
ppl started to leave. at last, left me and aud so we oso go lor. tat was about 11-ish. wow, ive been there from 11am till 11pm. my gosh, and i told u guys tat more than 3 hours wif tom is a nightmare, hmm, at least tis isnt...hahaha. it was a day of pure fun and entertainment man. wouldnt mind doing it again if anyone wants to hahaha.
got back home at about 11.30pm. stink like bbq!! told myself i would shower b4 bed but then came back, so lazy and tired. kena scolding from rave. go shower lorrrrrrr. because of tat i was awake and didnt sleep str8 after. voice chat wif her till 2am. cant stand it anymore, had to sleep. going uni the next morning for liana's group project ting then go out wif the gang. hehehe.
i will upload a few pix once i get them from auddie. i have some but i lazy put now hehe. stay tuned :P
