grocery shopping + pot luck din din
yesterday was one of those really fun day for me in perth. in the morning i went to see wilko for an adjustment. the price for students to see 5th year student chiroz has increased from $10 to $11. ridiculous really :P the one ting i want is to gets my $11 worth. true and true i got it yesterday. as wilko didnt have any patient after me, i had about an hour wif him. i told him about the fall and how my left knee is a lil dodgy and i had some sort of a low back pain involving my SI joints.
he screened me out and i was given a right SI restriction, mid thoracic, upper thoracic and a cervical restriction. kewl...i was gonna get so many adjustments hehe. then he checked out my knee. did some muscle testing and then some tendon-soft-tissue-rubs. got me to do some stretches for my hammies and boy was it weird. he asked me to fire my quadz on both legs. i was much stronger on my right side. i couldnt contract much on my left. like before where he 'poked' my arse to get me to contract, he did it again but tis time on my left quads. he kept poking until i was able to fire! wats wif him and poking..i noe its to get the muscles firing and all but none of my frenz ever get tat sorta treatment. he asked me to do some stretches in the gym and home. fair enuf. he went and spoke to the clinician to get thumbs up and got me adjusted. seriously, i am in luv wif the cervical adjustments. CRACK! hotness haha.
after tat, we went to the PT room to do some grastin work *BIG SMILEZ*
i had to strip down and put on a gown cuz i was wearing jeans and it was impossible to do anyting wif the jeans on. i specifically asked him if it was gonna hurt cuz as u noe, my pain tolerance is negative haha. he say initially wont hurt but will hurt/sore for the next few days. SHITLESS!

ready....get set...GO!!! screams!! *OUCH*..damm u bloody hell OUCH!!
the hammies was not too bad but when he came lower onto my gastrocz, tat ones a KILLER!! and at the back of my knees..oh boy, i teared! i was literally about to jump off the table. my face wasnt anywhere near the face-hole of the table. my hands were just grabbing the table-legs. it was the most painful grastin work ever. then he did some grastin on my jaw as well. again i was so self conscious tat i had to ask him over and over again if my face was gonna be bruised up. thank goodness it didnt haha. then he strapped my knee so that my muscles would be shortened and activated. feels funny when i walk hehe. cant wear skirt today cuz of tat :/
so there it was, a session of 'traumatic torture' from andrew :( but its so worth my visit, feels a lot better now.
went for lecture after tat. my pink vincci sandles snapped cuz i jumped when i saw this 4th year staring at me. damm it i had to walk barefoot to my car. i told audrey i would follow her shopping cuz she neeeded to do grocery shopping so badly. i even said i'd drive cuz the place is near my house and so i could go back after tat to change shoes. we headed to big-w first. omg...super funny lor. i have never ever been grocery shopping properly before lor. i noe i wont have the chance to cuz im not living alone like them. i oni shop for junk food and stationariez :/
it was funny cuz we had to bulk buy tings and sometings she didnt even noe she needed. cute.
spent like $50 on tissue, shampoo, sponge, toilet rolls, soap powder and wat not. went to wooliez. we bought ingredients for cooking carbonara, bought wedges and sour cream, paper plates, candles, chipz and wat not. then we shopped for her grocery. wow...it was the most fun time i had in the supermarket. comparing prices, quality, weight and crapz. our trolly was getting super heavy and we had to pull and push at the same time. i even shopped for some food myself hehe. stupid move..overspent haha. the trolly was filled wif stuff from mushrooms to cotton budz =.="
got to the check out and obviously we couldnt use the express lane haha. u noe how sometimes u tend to watch whenever the person scans the barcode of the tings u bought? we started wif the first few items then couldnt be bothered anymore. too much tings..blur oredi. the bill came up to $97!! wat the heck. are we feeding like 10 ppl or wat? hahaha. went to the asian store to get some chinese vege and garlic. the lady boss was so mean :/
it was oredi 3.30 when we finished shopping. so hungry so decided to go to HJ'z for a meal. auddie hasnt eaten a proper meal for 4 days ever since she moved into her new rented room. no appetite ba, since she broke up wif her bf. so i say cnt dun eat lor, made her eat :P
wrong move when we ordered, i wanted to eat oni nuggets but ended up ordering 2 set meals @____@" couldnt finish everyting. we just sat and chat about stuff. guess wat?!?! she's dated gals b4 :x im not gonna tell too much details here cuz its abit personal. we spent the next 2 hours toking about it and i told her about my side of the story and boy does she encourage! she's from an all gal school in spore so its understandable. oh ive learnt a new word...'yeng dou'. it means VERY HOT! not handsome or lengzhai or yeng lor. its way beyond tat. it's like 'eye candy' HOT. hahaha....
got to mel's house and we started cooking. mel was gonna cook some chic ting but forgot to defrost the chic so she bought some ready marinated drumsticks instead. julz bought stuff to make her famous vietnamese rolls. auddie prepared to cook her carbonara while i was the kitchen hand. i didnt cook anyting :D i roasted the potatoes if tats even counted haha. wats funny was, mel couldnt find a tray for me so she just put alluminium foil on the oven and put the potatoes in. but she forgot tat the oven was hot, she placed the plastic bag on the oven door and it got stuck!! omg we panic shit...faste take table knife and scrap everyting out. lucky it worked ok..if not SEI KANG! everyting was in a mess. very unorganized cuz we didnt have proper tings to cook wif. so nvm. neo is useless as a man hahaha. ask him buy ice on the way here and he grumbled so much. damm it. aud and i drove out to shell and bought a pack of ice. the process of cooking was just hillariouz! nonstop larfing cuz of all the funny mistakes we did and wat not. auddie was crazy funny. i was making the drinks and i needed them to try cuz sked not enuf flavour. it was peach tea. we used a spoon to try. after one person tries, auddie will shout..don put the spoon back in!! so ok we wash then next person try. when it got to her...she forgot totally and sticks her spoon into the mix. we were like 'AUDREY!!!'...she just went dang! hahahhaa.
neo picked his 'hubby' up and val from clinic. for the first time we met tiam (neo's housemate / husband) hahaha!!! we started eating but had neo's roast lamb in the oven cuz they were hungry. ate and larf and tok and larf even more. neo is famously known as the 'asian PIMP' in the chiro community. who's the big daddy now? whahaahahahahaha!!!
after eating we washed up and started toking again. gossip queens we were, even neo and tiam. telling us all the funny stuff about drinking, life, and chiro/accounting (tiam is an accountant). as the nite progressed, we larfed too much and we decided tat we shd all just 'call it quits for the nite' cuz it was oredi 11.30! cinderella jerome had to go back hahaha. it was **cking COLD!! aud and i were shivering our buttz off all the way back to her place.
oh wat a nite...pure fun! we might do tis kinda ting more often. tomolo aud and i are invited for a 'sisters appreciation nite' at val and romey's church. gonna pick aud up and we go from there since she doesnt noe the way there. next friday, we're all gonna go to ikea way up north. prolly suggest dinner outside. will see how it goes. im broke BROKE broke...all this is making my pocket cry hahaha. but i guess u cant put a price tag on company and happiness rite? hehehe. we asians rock!! ehehhee....
