manual handling course

monday came and monday went. day by day, time passes damm fast ><"

i had to attend the manual handling course @ the niche, sir charles gairdner hospital grounds. i couldnt be bothered taking the bus because i dunno which bust to take. but when i was there, i saw bus 98 which was the one i could take *sien*. i had to drive into the city and pass kings park. it wasnt hard to find the place at all. traffic jam for a bit and i tot i'd be late but i arrived just before 9.30 :D parked my car and registered myself. hmm, i wasnt expecting tat many ppl. there was about 10 ppl. it was boring at first because they were going tru anatomy of the back which i noe behind my head. then it got to the practical bit and it was fun. i forgot to mention, this course is just so tat i noe how to attend/assist disabled ppl without hurting my back. so it was about posture and how to deal wif machinary needed to help the disabled.

we learnt how to roll the patient, lift them up and how to use a hoist! tat was fun cuz i get to be patient because i didnt need to noe how to use one. so i tot i'd be patient so tat others can practice. being hoisted was fun. basically its lifting the person up from bed to chair n vice versa. pretty fun getting lifted up like a baby hehe. wasnt much fun being the person on the hoist cuz it was rather uncomfortable :(

finished at 1.30pm. went home for lunch, did a few tings then went for a swim. since i cant do much cardio after having a dodgy knee, i tink swimming is the best alternative. at about 5.5opm, i left and headed for belmont forum for a movie wif my cousin. she won tickets again. tis time was for the show called 'the rocker'. it is not due to be launched in january next year in oz. it was super hilariouz. tis time it was good because the guy sitting next to me was larfing so loud tat we were actually LOUD together hahaha. really funny show. it didnt make me jump off my seat but it was a good comedy. din win the i-pod nano as door prize but its ok :)

got home at about 9-ish. ate dinner then came on9 to do some chatting and do some work. rave is gonna book stuff soon. money is such an issue at the moment. the next few years eating bread and butter plus water as liquid is gonna be soooo hard for me.

am very tired at the moment. studying immuno is soooo damm boring. exam is on thursday. and boy was the lecture tis afternoon BORING!! went and see clint for a history taking and it was rather funny. i tink my history taking now is longer than b4. got more to add into my file hehehe.
my neck is killing me at the moment. maybe i shd go see andrew tomolo morning. sleepy, shd i go sleep or shd i just get some reading done? hmm....sleep sounds better :D
